4. Does He Know About Han, Luke, And Leia?
In the recent run of Star Wars comics, there have actually been several issues that chronicle the direct aftermath of Last Jedi.
Poe Dameron #26 begins with the whole gang onboard the Falcon after having escaped the First Order on Crait. Ever since then, the Poe Dameron comics have been set during this time period and though it has been mostly used as a storytelling structure for flashbacks, there have been some teases of the future of the saga. One of the most direct indicators is that Leia is seemingly feeling the effects of her journey through open space in Last Jedi.
Due to Fischer's untimely death, it has been confirmed that Leia will be written out of Episode IX, and this looks to be how Lucasfilm is going about it. So when Lando returns in Episode IX, all three members of the original trilogy trio will be dead.
The question is, does Lando know this? Han died at the hands of his own son on Starkiller Base, Luke gave his life facing down Kylo Ren to save the Resistance on Crait, and Leia will seemingly have died from the after-effects of an attack by her own son.
Not only will this be a tragic realization for Lando, but all three of these deaths have one thing in common: Kylo Ren. One can only imagine just how much anger and hatred Lando will feel for his once beloved Little Starfighter.
