Star Wars: 9 Burning Questions About Lando's Return In Episode IX

For the first time in the history of the Star Wars franchise, Last Jedi introduced the concept of flashbacks, chronicling how Ben Solo destroyed Luke's Jedi temple.

Which begs the question; will audiences be getting Lando-centric flashbacks in Episode IX?

Last Shot has already chronicled some of Lando's interactions with new parents Han and Leia and Ben Solo, but there's certainly a lot more ground to cover there.

Depending on the backstory behind Lando's absence in the two prior films, a flashback sequence detailing where he's been, a falling out with Han, or even witnessing some of Ben Solo's early brooding darkness would go a long way towards fleshing out his overarching role in this generation's story.

Or if they, for some reason, needed to go back even further, audiences were just recently treated to a wonderful portrayal of a young Lando Calrissian, via Donald Glover. And more Donald Glover is never, ever a bad thing.
