6. Anton Yelchin

Anton Yelchin would fare on the younger side of Star Wars protagonists, but that'd suit him just fine for a nascent Jedi in training, and what's more, he has firm experience slotting into beloved mythologies, having played a young Kyle Reese in Terminator Salvation (one of the few bright spots in a terrible film), and Pavel Chekhov in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek reboot. Both roles were well-received, and so there's no reason to doubt the fact he could make a great Luke Skywalker-esque lead here, even if his lack of starring roles - and therefore, his unproven box office bankability - will work against him. He's blessed with a youthful look that will make him convincing as an up-and-coming Jedi, but also is steely enough in demeanour and physical presence that we will believe him during the action scenes. Above all else, he's an immensely likeable actor, and this could be the role he needs to become a household name.
