Geek Credentials: Playing British soldier Sharpe in the long-running series of the same name as well as 006 in Bond Flick Goldeneye, Boromir in The Lord of the Rings, a supporting character in both Silent Hill movies, and of course, Ned Stark in HBO's Game of Thrones.
Who He Should Play: Though Bean hasn't had a substantial cinematic hit in years and years, the resurgence in fame has he enjoyed from his work on Game of Thrones would certainly make him a box office draw once again, and a real hit with the geeks. It's easy to imagine Bean playing a Qui-Gon type Jedi mentor character, a grizzled veteran who probably ends up getting killed at some point because, of course, Sean Bean dies in just about everything he stars in.
