Star Wars Episode VII: 10 Things It Can Do Better Than The Originals

3. Give More Time To Cool Characters

Every so often a movie comes along which introduces a really cool character only for them to disappear after just a handful of scenes, leaving the audience wondering when they're going to return. When they don't it can often be incredibly disappointing, as if an opportunlty has been well and truly wasted. If there's any character this problem applies to in the original Star Wars trilogy, it's Boba Fett. It isn't just the exceptional costume design which makes him such a great character, it's his entire demeanour. From the way he nods to his fellow bounty hunters to the weird ship he transports his bounties in, everything about him is too cool for words. Such a shame, then, that he's so underused in the movies. Characters like this should be made the most of, and while he ended up being pretty incompetent in Return Of The Jedi, a lot more could have been done with him.
