9. Kylo Ren Continues His Training Under Supreme Leader Snoke; Ren Meets A New Sith Lord

Kylo Ren, humiliated by his defeat on Starkiller Base, has been consumed by the Dark Side; there is nothing left of the former Ben Solo. The First Order has taken a critical blow, but the evil army is still several times larger than that of the Resistance and the process of reformation after the destruction of their signature weapon is almost complete. Supreme Leader Snoke introduces Kylo Ren, who is compelled to find Rey and destroy her at any cost, to a new character (the yet unnnamed villainous character played by Benicio del Toro). This shady individual is revealed to be embedded deep within the Republic - believed to be a respectful Senator, he's actually hiding a deadly secret: he's a Sith. The character weighs up Kylo Ren and mentions to Supreme Leader Snoke that the former Solo family member is filled with more hatred than he ever thought possible in a person, Sith or otherwise - he suggests that killing one's own father is an act of matchless evil, and that Snoke should be careful to trust him.
