Star Wars: Every Jedi Who Turned To The Dark Side
3. Quinlan Vos
Quinlan Vos was kind of a wild card within the Jedi Temple. He was a warrior who'd earned the reputation of a talented Force user but also a Jedi willing to bend the rules to get results. He was kind of the anti Obi-Wan. Vos's story is all over the place. It's a rollercoaster.
During the war, Vos was assigned by the Jedi Council the very un-Jedi-like mission to assassinate Count Dooku. Yoda suggested to Vos that he seek the aid of Dooku's former dark side apprentice Asajj Ventress. The dark side user had cut ties with Dooku after trying to murder her, and was now working as a bounty hunter.
At first, Vos attempts to hide his identity from Ventress, but he eventually reveals himself as a Jedi and tells her of his mission to kill Dooku. Ventress had developed a respect for Vos but told him they would not be able to kill Dooku unless he embraced the dark side of the Force. Vos agreed, and Ventress began training him to channel his negative emotions during combat.
Vos and Ventress traveled to Dathomir to train with the dark side coven known as the Nightsisters, and it was there that the two began a romantic relationship. Once they completed their training, they went on to Raxus, where they failed in their mission to kill Count Dooku. At this point, Vos was captured and tortured by Dooku.
It was there that Vos took on his new secret Sith persona, Admiral Enigma. By the way, if you want to leave your old life and adopt a new identity, don’t go with the name Enigma. It’s a little on the nose.
Eventually, Vos returned to the Light Side of the Force and was one of the presumed survivors of Order 66, although, after the war, he was never seen or heard from again.
