Star Wars: EVERY Movie & TV Show Ranked Worst To Best
7. The Mandalorian
Though it's only had one season (so far), The Mandalorian has packed one hell of a punch.
Introducing fans to a galaxy free from the grip of the fallen Empire, the large scale plots and battles are instead replaced by a simple and effective story of a bounty hunter protecting The Child (or Baby Yoda, as audiences have taken to calling him) from shady assassins, gangsters and former Imperials.
Mando (Pedro Pascal) is a great protagonist; he's morally ambiguous, looks incredibly cool in his armour, and knows how to handle himself. But he also has a heart of gold, shown by his caring for The Child. Who is, since we're talking about him, the cutest thing in the Star Wars canon.
The simple and episodic structure of Mando's misadventures gives fans the opportunity to see the smaller aspects of the galaxy the films aren't able to. For a TV series, it's stunning and truly beautiful in its scenery and setting, and every episode offers something new, from great characters like IG-11, Cara Dune and Greef Karga.
Season Two is set to hit Disney Plus in the near future, with fan-favourite Ahsoka Tano set to make her live-action debut and new villain Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) set to get more screen time. If it's only half as good as the show's first outing, it's going to be brilliant.
