Yes, Revenge of the Sith deserves to be this high. It's great, okay? Still a matter for debate amongst fans, there's no denying the emotional power and epic confrontations that take place in this film. Be it Anakin and Obi-Wan going head-to-head on Mustafar, Yoda and Windu taking on Palpatine, Obi-Wan taking down General Grievous, every face-to-face is simply mesmerising and intense.

And who can forget the execution of Order 66? The montage of the clones turning on their Jedi Generals is heart breaking and Star Wars bleakness at its finest. Pair all that intensity and emotion to a brilliant score by John Williams and some typically great visuals, and Revenge is the most successful the main saga has been since the original trilogy.

It's the Mustafar fight that elevates the film, though; the best duel in the entire franchise will never be surpassed, and Ewan McGregor's performance as Obi-Wan is a revelation.

And since we're on performances, Hayden Christensen confidently shows how good he can be. Yeah, it's a little wooden in parts (mainly the first half), but all in all, he plays evil very well. Some reading this might not agree, but give the film another watch and really focus on Christensen as Anakin descends fully into darkness.

Like the film as a whole, it's much better than people give it credit for.
