Star Wars: Every Upcoming Project Ranked By Anticipation

Easily the most unique animated project to be announced at Disney Investor Day was Star Wars: Visions, a 10-episode anime anthology set to arrive on Disney+.

If we're being honest, official Star Wars anime is long overdue. After all, the venerable space opera franchise has worn its Japanese influence on its sleeve from the very beginning, and has even received its fair share of manga adaptations.

A full-blown anime project like Visions was the next logical step. And Lucasfilm promises the anthology series will offer a fresh and diverse perspective on the Star Wars universe.

Like A Droid Story, Visions was sort of overshadowed my the numerous live-action Disney Investor Day announcements. Still, even though the anthology also lacks a release window, it's worth looking forward to all the same. It's hard not to get exited about seeing some of Japan's leading studios tack a crack at the galaxy far, far away.
