Along with his plans for the Force creatures, Lucas also revealed another illuminating detail about his sequel trilogy in the interview with James Cameron, saying:

"If I'd held onto the company I could've done it [seen the story through to its end], and then it would have been done. Of course, a lot of the fans would have hated it, just like they did Phantom Menace and everything, but at least the whole story from beginning to end would be told."

Based not only on what we know of his ideas, but how divisive just about anything to do with Star Wars is (especially nowadays, but also the reception to the prequels) you have to imagine that Lucas would be right to a degree.

Do you wish we'd seen George Lucas' sequel trilogy? Let us know down in the comments.
