Star Wars: Everything We Know So Far About The Obi-Wan TV Show
2. Old Friends May Be In Touch
As much of Disney's recent Star Wars output has been keen on the winks and nudges of fan service, we shouldn't be surprised to see more of the same in the Kenobi spin-off. This may well include cameos from some of Obi-Wan's old friends.
While The Emperor's purge of the Jedi appears to have been largely successful, several of the force-wielding heroes have since been shown to have survived. Yoda, of course, is at the top of that list and the sight of Obi-Wan communing with him through the force for guidance at some point would not be an unlikely prospect. Other Jedi survivors may also turn up, move on or give their lives to protect the safety of the young Luke Skywalker, depending on where they decide to take the story.
It's also a fact that Bail Organa, the Alderaan senator, Jedi sympathiser and step-father of Princess Leia, knew Obi-Wan was still alive at the beginning of A New Hope. This was referenced again in Rogue One, intended to be the first in a series of standalone films (which included this eventual Obi-Wan TV project). We can take it as read that Organa and Kenobi sporadically remained in touch: if Deborah Chow and her writers want to depict it for any reason, then they certainly can.
