8. Will The Force Awaken In The Young Cast?

Luke Skywalker clearly had a mastery of the Force during Episode VI; when he rescues Han Solo we could all tell that he€™d spent some time learning to harness and control the Force. If the Force is going to be awakening it would not make sense for it to be with him; but there are a number of young additions to the cast who could be part of a new Jedi Order, with the Force awakening and manifesting itself through them. Daisy Ridley and John Boyega have been cast in the film, but we have no idea of who or what they will be playing; is the awakening of the Force an allusion to the fact that these young characters have the potential to be a new group of Jedi Knights? This would explain why €˜Awakens€™ has been used; in The Phantom Menace we learned that midi-chlorians connect the Force with people, and that they are the source of a Jedi€™s power. These characters could have the necessary midi-chlorians, but just need to be awakened to their potential power.
