4. Is There A New Jedi Order Entirely?

Did Luke Skywalker rebuild the Jedi Order to its former glory after the fall of the Empire? Is this awakening a hint towards the fact that after thirty years there is now an established Jedi Order with the respect and a reputation similar to the one that had been destroyed in the conclusion of the prequel trilogy? Many rumours have suggested that Luke now heads a new Jedi Order, and the fact that people now accept the Force and Jedi (after it was so influential in the fall of the Empire) means that a public awakening has already happened. Is the awakening a hint towards the fact that a hidden threat is already beginning to show its head in this new order? Perhaps the awakening refers to one of the new recruits turning to the dark side, or maybe it is a reference to the fact that after a substantial amount of time there is now an abundance of people using the Force, throwing it off balance? Mark Hamill is sporting a rather fetching beard, reminiscent of Sir Alec Guinness, so perhaps this represents his wisdom as the new head of this Jedi Order; only time will tell.
