Star Wars: Ranking The Future Lucasfilm Projects From Least To Most Promising

4. The Bad Batch

The animated series The Clone Wars was revived for a seventh and final season in early 2020. In that last season, the show's main writer and director Dave Filoni introduced fans to a new squadron of clone troopers that have now been given their own spin-off series.

The Bad Batch is made up of Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, Hunter, and Echo. They are all genetically different to their brother in the Clone Army and each of them has a specific skill in which they excel at. In the aftermath of the Clone War, The Bad Batch must accept work as mercenaries in a galaxy that is succumbing to the control of the Galactic Empire.

Fans of The Clone Wars will also be happy to learn that Dave Filoni will be involved in the show, and that Dee Bradley Baker will be returning to voice all of the clones. The show will also feature the deadly sniper Fennec Shand, who first appeared in The Mandalorian.

If The Bad Batch follows in the same footsteps as The Clone Wars, then there could be a lot more of this show to follow when it premieres some time this year.
