Star Wars Rogue One: 10 Major Questions We Still Have
1. Is Jyn Erso Actually Evil?
The rumour mill is swirling that Felicity Jones's badass Jyn Erso is in fact a double agent. The Redditors are going crazy that we could actually see a main character doing the dirty work for once. The Star Wars film have become slightly marred in the story of good defeating evil, and it is about time a new Darth Vader stepped up to the plate.
At one point we see Jyn in TIE fighter clothing, so is the film pulling a reverse Finn on us? We know that at some point the Erso family was tied to the Empire, and if blood is thicker than water. could Jyn literally go Rogue One?
There hasn't been a good Star Wars twist in a while (Han's demise aside), so it is about time we got some good vs. bad character exposition. There is always a master and always an apprentice, yet we are yet to see Vader's latest protege. It could also nicely tie in to the mysterious hooded figure we see in the trailers. While everyone is looking for signs of the Emperor, I say look a little closer to home.
Someone in Rogue One will undoubtedly betray their mission.
All this being said, if there was a Secret Agent who had betrayed the rebel cause and destroyed the plans to take down the Death Star, do you not think we would of heard of them by now? Whatever happens though, we are dying to know "Where the hell is Jyn in the original films?" Jyn's place is history is not immortalised enough to have her tread over into the rest of the Star Warsverse, so did she meet a grisly demise? As long as she doesn't get Captain Phasma'ed I don't really mind!
