Star Wars Rogue One: 10 Major Questions We Still Have

7. Will There Be More Rogues?

With Vader reserved for bench duty, he will probably just make a raspy cameo for old times' sake. However, could we eventually see a Rogue Two with a Vader-centric story?

Any 'new' prequels have a real chance to make Vader scary again, showing him at his darkest days before he became a pale Sebastian Shaw in a helmet. Just as the xenomoprhs from Alien weren't as scary up close, Vader was much more menacing in his cloaked attire.

While we all know the events of A New Hope, there are still lots of gaps in the story which are rife for the plucking. Couple that with what we have seen before: just exactly how does Leia become in the possession of the plans, and where does R2-D2 come from?

Some of these questions will undoubtedly be answered in Rogue One, but it is not unlike Disney to spin the story out over multiple parts. We can only guess that some of the main cast of Rogue One will survive, and with fan-favourite status looming, it would seem a shame to lock them up after just one outing.

The Star Wars studios aim to start churning out a film per year, but with the slate full until 2020 there is no sign of Rogue Two. We know there will be Episodes VIII and IV, as well as a Han Solo-solo, then one more mystery film. The third of the anthology films was rumoured to be a Boba Fett outing, but it looks increasingly unlikely.

If Rogue One is the hit it is expected to be, look out for a equally dangerous mission coming their way some time soon.
