Star Wars Rogue One: 20 WTF Moments

Easily the movie's most talked-about scene occurs in the final two minutes, as rebel officers frantically rush the Death Star's plans to Princess Leia, but out of nowhere, Darth Vader's iconic breathing can be heard, followed by his red lightsaber being switched on.

He spends the next minute slaughtering every officer in the vicinity, slashing away, using the Force to fling them around, and even stab through the door.

It's a marvelous scene and of course immediately sets up Leia being captured by Vader at the start of A New Hope.

Seeing Vader so murderous remains incredibly shocking despite audience knowledge of all his misdeeds, and that it manages to tie so neatly into the original trilogy makes it all that much better and weirder.
