19. Flight Academy

Unfortunately, it's not all smooth sailing for Han, as the Empire is hot on his tail - though perhaps that's the sort of challenge he enjoys.

Here we learn that he was kicked out of the Flight Academy for "having a mind of [his] own", which lines up with what we saw in the Super Bowl teaser. There he was being questioned by an Imperial officer and declared his intention to become the best pilot in the galaxy, but clearly things in the Academy don't last too long and the rebel is quickly back on the run.

This does fit somewhat with the character's EU origins, which sees Han pursue a career as an Imperial pilot, but leaves after seeing a Wookiee beaten by an officer, forming his bond with Chewbacca in the process. It doesn't look like we'll get a direct lift, but as we've seen before in the Disney era, there will be some cherrypicking from the Legends tales and putting elements back into canon where they see fit.
