Another character who technically no longer exists because of the Expanded Universe being wiped from canon, Guri is someone Disney and Lucasfilm could easily take and slightly reshape for this spin-off. One of only a handful of human replica droids ever made, the beautiful assassin would make for a fascinating addition to the movie if it does indeed focus on a team of pirates or bounty hunters. Guri's cold demeanour gives Jones something interesting to play with as an actress and her story could easily be the focus of the spin-off. Despite spending years following orders, Guri eventually decided to be reprogrammed in order to purge her of her assassin side, and seeing Jones get to show this conflict between the character's desire for a new life and her programming would be really interesting. It would also be something new for the Star Wars movies. Fans have met a lot of droids over the years, but none quite like this! As long as any similarities with something like Terminator could be avoided, Guri would be an unexpected choice, but one with a story worth telling.
