Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Awesome Things (That Won’t Happen)

2. Leia Has A Force Seance With Padme Fans spend a lot of time speculating about Luke and Darth Vader, but not nearly as much time with Leia and Vader or Leia and her mother. In Return of the Jedi, Leia admits remembering her mother, but in Revenge of the Sith its clear that Padme dies during childbirth. How could this be possible? Well, because Leia is a Skywalker, and therefore Force sensitive by default, it's highly possible that she had been communing with Padme as a child without even realizing what she was doing. It would be pretty sweet to see Leia using some of her Force powers, especially in her role as a leader. Whether or not Leia is the head of the New Republic (or whatever government exists in the Galaxy in The Force Awakens), it would be a neat bit of council to talk with your Force ghost mother, who just so happened to be a Queen and a Galactic Senator in her time. Even though maintaining your identity in the Force is something that only incredibly powerful Jedi can do, who's to say that there isn't a method for conjuring up a particular person? The only trick would be to have Leia consider something that really required communing with the dead...
