Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Awesome Things (That Won’t Happen)

5. Luke Skywalker Versus Starkiller

If Ahsoka is Anakin Skywalker's apprentice, then Starkiller is Darth Vader's. In the Force Unleashed games, which take place between the Prequel and Original Trilogies, Vader takes on a secret apprentice for the purpose of assassinating the Emperor. Starkiller, born Galen Marek, was raised by Vader in secret not only as an apprentice, but as a son after he kills the boy's parents.By the end of the second Force Unleashed game, Starkiller is dead and cloned multiple times, playing an instrumental role in the formation of the Rebellion against the Empire (surprisingly at the behest of Vader). For this reason, beyond any other, it would be truly interesting to see Starkiller (or a clone with Starkiller's memories) interact with Luke Skywalker. Considering the abusive way that Vader raised him, it would make a lot of sense for Starkiller to be the main antagonist in Luke's quest to resurrect Anakin. The fight between surrogate, abused son and biological, secret son has too much gravitas to be denied and the resulting lightsaber duel would certainly be an instant classic. Perhaps the knowledge of being able to bring people back from the dead might even cause Starkiller to think twice about his own circumstances.
