Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Awesome Things (That Won’t Happen)

4. The Revelation Of Yoda's Race And Home Planet

One of the greatest Jedis of all time, little has ever been revealed about Grand Master Yoda's origins. Though he sat on the Jedi Council for centuries and oversaw the training of almost all the Jedis in the Order during his tenure, his race, home planet, and even his youth are entirely unrevealed. It has been speculated that Yoda was from a race of incredibly Force sensitive beings, but it has always been a question as to why there aren't more of him; especially if they are so attuned to the Force. There could be any number of reasons to disclose this information in a new movie, including researching how to resurrect his father. It would at least provide Luke with a place to have been spending the decades. Whether he stumbled upon a race of Yodas or a long abandoned home planet, such a setting would be a beyond ideal place for Luke to hones his skills over the years. Undoubtedly there would be many archives and artifacts for him to use in his further training and realization of his potential. It could also allow Luke to have certain useful, sage wisdom and information to the solution of whatever main plot the movie has. Additionally, it would provide that connection to Yoda and the other movies, and give just cause to utilize a certain syntax many fans wish to hear.
