Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Fears Alleviated By The Teaser Trailer

8. John Williams Score Has Retained All Of Its Power

The Fear: The music wouldn't sound quite "right". Why The Teaser Eased That Fear: The general reaction to the news that John Williams would be returning to score Star Wars: The Force Awakens went something like: "OMG, AMAZING!" But given his age, and the strength of his previous scores in the franchise (yes: even the prequel scores, which were probably the best thing about those movies when you look back at them), fans couldn't help feeling a tad nervous about it. Factor in the fact that Williams' score for disappointing sequel Indiana Jones And The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull felt relatively lackluster when compared with his own previous efforts in that series, and some anxiety is understandable. Thankfully, the new musical cues featured in the trailer - and the newest arrangement of the Star Wars theme - sound like vintage Williams. The man shall deliver.
