6. Who Gets The Lightsaber?

The question on everyone's lips, though, is when is there gonna be some sweet lightsaber duelling action in one of these trailers, and how much will be in the finished film? The first teaser had a Sith wielding what looked like a janky, homemade red 'saber with a frankly impractical hand guard that was also lasers, and this new one features both that and another Sith wielding a rather more professional-looking lightsaber too. Which means that there's got to be somebody who can do battle with those bad 'uns. Luke Skywalker presumably still has his, but chances are he'll be fulfilling the Ben Kenobi role here €“ either being struck down swiftly or just not fighting a whole bunch. There definitely looks to be a scene of the Skywalker family lightsaber being passed to someone, though. So then who, in the scene glimpsed in this trailer, is that lightsaber being given to? According to an exhibition of The Force Awakens costumes at the Star Wars Celebration event where the trailer was unveiled, it's John Boeyga's Finn who has the Jedi weapon for a time. But that doesn't mean it's his to keep, necessarily. Are there any more Jedi, even?
