Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Minor Characters We Desperately Need To See More Of

3. Bala-Tik

While the fate of the Kanjiklub is left unclear, we see that Bala-Tik is very much alive and responsible for tipping off The First Order about Han Solo being on the run with Finn, Rey, and BB-8. Interestingly, the character is actually only a negotiator for the Guavian Death Gang, another very unique looking group who have the potential to do more in this trilogy than making just the one blink and you'll miss it appearance. Even if Han's debt to this lot has been wiped out (he is, you know, dead), there's still some potential for more stories with Bala-Tik. The character's backstory has yet to be explored in any of the tie-in novels, so there's room for some interesting stories even if there's nothing left for him to do on the big screen, especially as it's been noted that he once frequently used Han and Chewie as a source of information. Going back to the Guavian Death Gang though, and Gareth Edwards' Rogue One seems like it could be a good place to further explore their origins. It's been said that members swear loyalty to the gang in exchange for cybernetic augmentations, and that alone seems like something worth delving into. Having one of Rogue One's mysterious characters have an interest in such experiments might be a neat way to subtly tie things together!
