Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Minor Characters We Desperately Need To See More Of
6. The Kanjiklub
There was so much fanfare around the news that J.J. Abrams had cast actors from The Raid in The Force Awakens that it's pretty shocking they ended up making a very insignificant and forgettable appearance in the movie. Despite talk of some sort of incredible action sequence featuring this talented duo, the Kanjiklub's greatest contribution arguably ended up being part of a LEGO set with the Millennium Falcon. Assuming some of them somehow survived their encounter with those Rathtars, seeing this lot return in a bid to take down Chewbacca (it's unlikely they'd be aware of Han Solo's death, so the gangsters would no doubt still be after him as well) could make for a fun subplot in Episode VIII, especially if their inclusion leads to some awesome practical fight scenes unlike anything we've ever seen in a Star Wars movie before. Not an awful lot if known about Tasu Leech and his gang anyway, so Johnson definitely has the opportunity to take these characters and provide his own unique spin on them. While it would have obviously been more fun to see them going head to head with Han, it would be no bad thing for Finn and his BFF Poe Dameron to somehow get involved with this lot as they'll need something to do while Rey is training with Luke!
