Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Minor Characters We Desperately Need To See More Of
5. Sidon Ithano
One of the most visually striking additions to the Star Wars Universe in The Force Awakens, it's no great surprise that Sidon Ithano was featured heavily in merchandise before the movie's release. However, all those toys gave the impression that he'd be doing much more here than just sitting at the same table with Finn as the former Stormtrooper attempted to find someone who would help him escape to the Outer Rim. Various novels have fleshed out his background though, and it's been revealed that he's a notorious thief and pirate with the nicknname, "Crimson Corsair." By far his most significant moment came when the character sought out the lost treasure of Count Dooku, the contents of which were revealed to be a collection of Jedi lightsaber kyber crystals that the Count had collected during the events of the Clone Wars. Seeing as there's a fairly big mystery surrounding the crystal inside Kylo Ren's lightsaber, Episode VIII could effortlessly find a way of tying these stories together, giving Ithano a much more significant role as a result. He has all the makings of a future fan-favourite anyway, both in terms of visuals and the fact that his ebook made it clear that he's possibly an even bigger badass than the beloved Bounty Hunter Boba Fett.
