Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Minor Characters We Desperately Need To See More Of

4. Constable Zuvio

Despite the fact that Empire Magazine made a fairly big deal about showing off the first image of Constable Zuvio (though like most of the movie's characters, he was first spotted in toy form), this character wound up not making any sort of appearance in the J.J. Abrams helmed release. The reasons for that have not been officially revealed, though it has been confirmed that his scenes would have taken place on Jakku. As the constable and head of Nima Outpost's militia, it's said that Zuvio has a strong sense of justice and can not be bribed, a loyalty to his job which suggests the only way we're going to see more of him is if a future movie returns to this planet! It's hard to say what the chances of that are right now, but there's a strong possibility that we'll see his scenes on the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of the movie. Abrams has already confirmed that there's no Director's Cut on the way, but mentioned that there will be at least twenty minutes of deleted scenes, so don't be surprised to see more of Zuvio in there. Seeing as previous Star Wars movies haven't really dealt with local law enforcement, it will be fun to learn more about this constable's duties. Throw in the fact that he's a genuinely very unique creation from a visual standpoint, and it's fair to say that he deserves his moment.
