6. Maz Kanata Sees Everything... Apart From Those Two Spies In Her Castle

Maz Kanata is The Force Awakens' play on a Yoda-type character; she's not a Jedi, exactly, but she's small, wise and a tad comical. She also understands the ways of the Force, feels it flowing through her, and has thus gained a host of psychic abilities in the process. She can gaze into people's eyes and "figure them out" and can sense when Han Solo wanders into her home without even seeing him. For a super clairvoyant Force-sensitive individual, then, Maz Kanata is surprising short-sighted when it comes to sniffing out spies dwelling in her own castle home. When Han and the gang arrive at Maz's castle, they're spotted by two spies - a fat alien and a sexy woman - who subsequently inform the First Order of their location. But why didn't Maz sense that these scumbags were dwelling there? Surely her connection to the Force would have allowed her to at least feel that something was wrong with those unsavoury individuals? It's all too convenient that she just overlooks them.
