Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 9 Plot Holes That Almost Ruined The Film
4. Kylo Ren Assigns Just One Stormtrooper To Guard The First Order's Most Valuable Prisoner
Oh, come on: this is just dumb. Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb... Think back to the scene where Kylo Ren proceeds to torture Rey for information, having captured her and brought her back to Starkiller Base. Whilst using the Force to read her mind, he stumbles upon something curious: she's strong with the Force and manages to resist his powers. He backs off, frightened, and goes to visit with Snoke. And what does he do, having discovered in that moment that Rey is probably extremely powerful? He leaves her alone with a single Stormtrooper. That's it. Just one guy. Had it been Captain Phasma, you might understand - but one lowly Stormtrooper? No way! The weirdest thing about this is that he chooses to do so after sensing that there is more to Rey than meets the eye. He goes to Snoke in order to tell him that Rey has some hidden value, straight after she essentially "used the Force" to block him. Kylo Ren might be a mess, but he's not stupid enough to leave the most valuable prisoner in First Order history with a single bloke. Call this whatever you like, but also call it a massive plot hole.
