Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Theories On How It Ends

3. The First Order And Rebel Conflict Is Just The Start Of Some Grand Plan From Supreme Leader Snoke

Andy Serkis' role in The Force Awakens has been kept under tight wraps ever since he was cast. Other than the character name of Supreme Leader Snoke, his affinity with the Dark Side, Kylo Ren being his apprentice and him somehow holding a prominent position in The First Order, no one really knows what the deal is with Serkis' character. But what if after the bad guys are defeated and the Rebels celebrate, Snoke is sitting in his chair somewhere and marveling at how everything is going according to plan? Having not even seen what Snoke looks like, theories are rampant over his role in the film. But based on his Supreme Leader tag and all the secrecy behind the character, it's not outside the realm of possibility that Snoke has been manipulating events in order to fulfil his own agenda. Emperor Palpatine managed to be the brains behind the Empire's doings in the original trilogy while only showing up briefly in Return Of The Jedi, so maybe Snoke is going to be something of an Emperor Palpatine 2.0? Whatever Snoke is up to or what his motivations are, at least you're guaranteed another great motion-capture performance from Serkis.

My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem. Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh. You can follow me at @Fry_ying_pan but don't be offended if I don't tweet back.
