Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Things Everybody Missed In The Final Trailer

10. Rey's AT-AT

Back when concept art for Star Wars Episode VII (as it was then known) first leaked online, one of the most prominent and intriguing images (after a shot of a masked man holding Vader's mask) was a collapsed AT-AT in the middle of a desert that had been converted into a make-shift dwelling. When it was later revealed Rey, the film's perceived protagonist, was a scavenger on desert planet Jakku, well, everyone assumed it was where she lived. And, while it doesn't make a song and dance about it, the final trailer pretty much confirms that. During the opening where Rey claims she's "no one" and we get a throwback to Luke's wishing of getting off planet, there's a shot of a ship (guesses if it's anything we've seen before down in the comments - I think it looks a bit like Serenity) with some rusted metal in the foreground, which is actually part of a AT-AT footplate. It doesn't look like the subsequent reaction shot of Rey looking out is actually from the same scene - she's clearly underneath a different type of shelter - but the felled AT-AT is definitely in the movie and, given the perceived implication of the ship leaving shot, it's a fair bet it's where she's hanging/hiding out.
