Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Ways The Final Trailer Eased Your Fears

3. John Williams Still Has It

Granted, there's not a lot of original music in the final trailer, as J.J. Abrams opted to go with some iconic themes from the franchise to promote a sense of the nostalgic ("Han and Leia's Love Theme" and "The Force Theme" to be specific). But even these iconic musical cues sounds absolutely stunning in their newer compositions - epic in ways that they have never felt before. The way that John Williams' orchestra turns them out is awe-inspiring. This, of course, puts any concerns that fans might have had to rest about ol' Johnny straight to bed. Whilst some of the man's late musical scores have lacked a little oomph, the music in the new trailer alone has an edge that shows a composer who is on top of his game, intent on bring a new grandeur to the themes that Star Wars fans have heard a zillion times. And what about the very brief but obviously new musical cue heard as Kylo Ren talks to Darth Vader's warped helmet? Doesn't it get you insanely excited when you remember that in less than two months' time there's going to be an entirely new Star Wars soundtrack?
