Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 11 Best Moments

2. Han Solo's Death

I'm actually writing these words. Han Solo is dead. Han. Solo. Is dead. He's dead. It simply does not compute, but the smuggler is a gonner, and what a way to bow out. I would've liked to have seen him bow out in heroic fashion, sacrificing himself for the greater good, but at the end of the day, his death was a brutal display of his son's full submission to the Dark Side. Han's death was inevitable the second he stepped on the bridge screaming, "BEN!" at Kylo Ren. That was immensely powerful from Ford, providing a dropkick to the feels, while his last moments with Kylo were truly heart-wrenching. Chewie's reaction was devastating, while the new characters also crumbled. It was an abrupt, unceremonious end, but that's the way to go for a 'scoundrel'. Kylo Ren isn't coming back from this; surely this trilogy will document his journey to the ultimate Dark Side rather than Vader's path where Luke saw the Light in him. You don't get forgiveness after killing Han Solo.
