That swooping shot of the X-Wings flying under an astroid belt is one of the best released so far, and really suggests that Abrams knows the kind of visual language he is tasked with translating. It's still a little weird to see the Falcon joining in combat assaults, but it's great to see the old girl in amongst the action.

But it clearly does not go all to plan for the Falcon, as it spectacularly smashes into the ground of the Starkiller base. Could the veteran character death we've all been teased with be the Falcon herself?
