Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 16 Biggest Revelations From The TV Spots

2. The Confirmation That Rey 's Family Members Are Important

The first TV spot contained one of the biggest revelations thanks to Maz Kanata's voice-over:
"I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people. I see your eyes. I know your eyes."
Though creative editing could be throwing in a red herring, it does feel like this line is directed at Rey after the "who are you?" challenge of the main trailer. If that is the case, it is the first real confirmation (after months of speculation) that Rey is a legacy character, and is related to someone who has already appeared in the franchise. The most compelling theory - thanks to the fact that she's at Kanata's base with Han Solo - is that Rey is Luke's daughter (why else wouldn't Kanata just say - "look, he's your dad"), and that this is the moment that sets the new young cast on their journey to find Skywalker.
