Whether he's evil or not (he's not), Luke Skywalker will apparently follow up his return in The Force Awakens with an appearance in Episode VIII alongside R2-D2. That would scupper quite a few theories that the old guard were all going to be killed off for dramatic effect, but fits with the idea that The Force Awakens culminates in Luke being drawn out of hiding for a bittersweet ending. The Evidence Like Jimmy Vee, Mark Hamill was spotted by locals (and reported by Metro), on Skellig Michael, where he entertained locals by pulling pints. You know, keeping a low profile. Unless that's as a force ghost, of course, but then filming on location would be pretty unnecessary for a CGI render. Which characters do you want to see return for Episode VIII?
