Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 5 Clues To What Kylo Ren Really Is

3. He's Also Dressing Like Vader

Here's something that's really rather obvious but has kinda just been accepted and moved on from, but actually says a lot more about Ren than possibly any other point on this list. Kylo's getup, with long black robes, flowing cape and, most importantly, menacing mask-helmet combo is a pretty solid approximation of the Vader style. It may bear some more minor aesthetic similarities to Knights Of The Old Republic's Darth Revan, but with that being over 4000 years in the past (and also now non-canon), there should be no doubt that the inspiration was the Dark Lord's breathing apparatus. It doesn't just stop there - he's also made his own lightsaber, a further step of clear imitation of Anakin, or at least the Sith Order. So this clear obsession with Vader doesn't just end with collecting personal items then; it's bordering on flat out imitation. Heck, the single thing we know about Kylo's motivations are that he aims to "finish" what was started (surely wipe of the Jedi).
