Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 6 Theories About Andy Serkis' Supreme Leader Snoke

6. The Leader Of A Minor Group We've Never Heard Of

First up is the least fun of all the theories. What if calling Serkis' character "Supreme Leader" is a massive piece of misdirection and he has nothing at all to do with the remnants of the Empire, the First Order? What if, in fact, he's just the leader of a small outfit and the moniker is an example of a small, petty guy giving himself an overblown title? Assuming this idea is true, Snoke could be the head of an organisation the heroes stumble across while investigating the main threat or who they need to work with to defeat the true enemy. Plausible candidates for such a group would be an Assassins Guild or a group of space pirates. Thankfully, this lame possibility is highly unlikely, since Snoke possesses one of the evillest voices ever heard and that talent isn't going to be wasted on a character connected with a trivial sub-plot. No, Snoke is undoubtedly someone more important.
