You no doubt remember the outlandish rumours which started doing the rounds about Daniel Craig suiting up as a Stormtrooper in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and to this very day, J.J. Abrams continues to deny that the James Bond actor played a member of The First Order (just in slightly more polite terms than when Craig said, "Why would I ever bother doing something like that? F**king hell! Pffft. Play an extra in another movie."). Entertainment Weekly however has confirmed through their sources that the Spectre star is in the movie and that he plays the Stormtrooper who Rey uses her abilities on to mentally manipulate into freeing her. It's one of the funniest scenes in the movie, and on a repeat viewing, you can definitely tell that it's Craig under the mask. The voice is ever so slightly distorted, but it's him alright, and this simply has to go down as one of the greatest cameos in a movie ever. After all, it's not every day 007 suits up as a Stormtrooper...
