5. The Return Of Boba Fett
If fans were blown away by the appearance of the standard stormtroopers, the reveal of the chrometrooper had them positively wetting their pants with excitement - with the jet black cloak draped over one shoulder it's a masterclass in cool costume design. While most people have assumed that this is Gwendoline Christie's character Captain Phasma, one hopeful fan took these images in another direction and posited that this is actually Boba Fett, risen from the Sarlacc and out for revenge. The reasoning behind this line of thinking is rather crude, to say the least - the fan believes that the "evidence" lies in the cape, gun and the way the character walks. Unfortunately for that particular fan, the theory can't be true, since Boba Fett has indeed been revealed to have survived and will appear in Star Wars Battlefront - wearing his traditional garb. Odds are, then, that the chrometrooper pictured above is indeed Christie's character Captain Phasma, although we'll probably have to wait until the film is released before we find out for sure.
