3. Chewbacca Without Han? No Way!

A lesser point, perhaps, but a point nonetheless - especially when you consider how iconic the relationship between these two characters has become over the years. If Han dies, are Star Wars fans really expected to watch Chewbacca make his way through a bunch more Episodes without his best buddy at his side? The thought of a lone Chewbacca is enough to bring tears to your eyes, but consider that these two are a team - it's like having R2-D2 without C-3PO: there's something seriously not right about it. Especially since, you know, Chewie doesn't even speak English and Han translates! And to think: should anything unfortunate happen to Han, Chewbacca actually sticking around once he's gone is a best case scenario. Worst case scenario? He's written out of the next Episode, deemed to be somewhat inessential without his partner, which could realistically happen if J.J. Abrams has - for some reason - opted to go down this route. It seems crazy to think of Chewbacca without Han, and Star Wars fans won't like it at all.
