5. Boba Fett Really Did Escape The Sarlacc Pit

You don't need me to tell you about Boba Fett becoming a cult favourite character in the Star Wars Universe, and the love fans have for him is why it's widely believed that he managed to escape the Sarlacc Pit. The Expanded Universe confirmed that of course (which means nothing now it's no longer canon), and while there have been rumblings of an Anthology movie for the Bounty Hunter, we've yet to learn his fate. Could that possible spinoff be set to shed some light on how he transformed into Supreme Leader Snoke? That's right; there does indeed exist a sizeable portion of fans who believe that Fett has taken a turn to the Dark Side - likely to get vengeance for what happened to his father at the hands of a Jedi - and that it was the time he spent inside the Sarlacc Put that left him looking horribly scarred and ravaged. So, yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. The thing is, Fett never showed any signs of having a connection to the Force, and certainly nowhere near enough of a link to it to have risen up the ranks and become both Kylo Ren's master and the Supreme Leader of The First Order. It's relatively easy to see how fans have tried to shoehorn Fett into this role (especially as he's a clone), but this would ultimately be way too much of a "WTF" reveal for the franchise to work!
