6. Darth Vader Resurrected

This one is so utterly batsh*t crazy that I almost can't help but hope that it really is true. While Darth Vader is no doubt going to factor into this new trilogy in some way moving forward (there were after all plans for him to show up as a Force Ghost in The Force Awakens), there are those who believe the Sith Lord somehow managed to escape being cremated - after dying - in order to live on as Supreme Leader Snoke. One big flaw with this theory is also one of the things many fans have been using to back their argument up, and that is of course the scars, which allegedly match-up between the characters, but don't really; Vader's don't stretch that far down across his forehead or quite so much into his cheek. While markings like this can change as someone ages, that leads to the question of just how in the hell did he manage to grow back his missing arm and legs in the years which have followed Return Of The Jedi?! There's just too much in the way of reliable evidence to lend any sort of weight to this theory (bear in mind that we've already seen Anakin Skywalker's Force Ghost), and it wouldn't make any sort of sense from a storytelling perspective for Snoke to be revealed as Vader. Don't get me wrong, the similarities are definitely interesting, but it's hard to believe that Episode VIII and IX are going to get anywhere near this weird.
