Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 8 Batsh*t Crazy Theories About Supreme Leader Snoke

2. A Link To Star Wars Rebels?

When Star Wars Rebels first launched on Disney XD, there was a lot of talk about it having some major ties to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. That hasn't really ended up being the case, and rumours that J.J. Abrams' movie would utilise The Inquisitors proved to be nonsense, even if some fans remain convinced that there's a link between them and the Knights of Ren. However, what if The Grand Inquisitor is actually Snoke? The physical resemblance is sort of there, and while it doesn't make a lot of sense that he's voiced by Jason Isaacs on TV and Andy Serkis on the big screen, this would hardly be the first time different voice actors have been utilised for the same character. The biggest issue with this one however is the fact that The Grand Inquisitor was actually killed off in the animated series, so this one would require a resurrection! The fact these Inquisitors are strong with the Force without being Sith is certainly interesting, but there's just not enough evidence to back this theory up even if you try and force yourself to find similarities between the two villains. Plus, common sense says that Disney aren't going to introduce the franchise's new big bad in a cartoon with so so ratings on Disney XD!
