Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 8 Set Leaks Which Left J.J. Abrams Fuming
3. The Millennium Falcon Revealed
For the most part, Star Wars: The Force Awakens was lucky when it came to photos from the set. That's because much of the shoot took place either indoors or places where the paparazzi simply couldn't get to, but Abrams had some serious bad luck when a pilot from a local flying school happened to take a trip over Greenham Common. It was there that the Millennium Falcon had been build, along with a number of X-Wings. The photos he took went viral instantly, and it didn't take long for budding photographers to make their way to the surrounding woodlands to try and get some snaps of the action. One person claimed that they were chased down and threatened by security guards, with a legal warning from Disney following shortly after. Some very clever fans even used drones to try and get the scoop on what's to come in the movie, and what they ultimately unearthed could point to a massive twist; blurry images seemingly revealed that Adam Driver's Kylo Ren and Gwendoline Christie's Captain Phasma were part of the Resistance. This may have been Abrams messing with photographers or two extras who looked shockingly similar to the movie's lead villains, but a popular theory is that these two may have been on the side of the angels before something led to them becoming part of The First Order. Time will tell on that front, but the Millennium Falcon and redesigned X-Wings being revealed in this manner can't have gone down well with the director.
