5. Fighting Style
Going on the discussion about how possible new villain Revan was once referred to as Revan the Butcher, its likely his lightsaber a symbol of his fighting style. After all, each Sith carries a weapon that suits their particular method of fighting. The last time there was such furore about a lightsaber it was over the double ended one belonging to Darth Maul, and it was evidently designed specifically for the way he went about fighting. Maul was much more of an athletic and kung fu type of fighter, with his fight scenes involving a whole load of crafty moves and flips - his lightsaber suited that fighting style ideally. However, this new design suggests the new villain will be something more of a stand up, face to face fighter. Its also easy to imagine that he will be a tactician versed in swordplay given the style of weapon he is wielding. All of that makes him an entirely different foe to what weve seen before. And that cant be a bad thing.
