The most notable thing about this shot? R2 is deactivated. Whether that means he starts the film "dead" or not remains to be seen, but it would be pretty ceremonially pertinent to have him reanimated in the opening few sequences, given how iconic a representation he is of the franchise's spirit.

Given that Rey is a scavenger, could there be a call-back to how Luke comes into possession of he and C3PO? Will he end up on Rey's rescued scrap pile and help bridge her and Finn's story with the older cast?
