Why He Could Live: Because, going by the little character information known about Hux, he's an incredibly important component of the First Order, operating the organisation's primary HQ, the Starkiller Base. It's possible that he may endure throughout the three movies as a tough-as-nails strategist who just won't die, no matter what happens to Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma and other antagonists who venture out into the field. Why He Could Die: Many fans have already noted similarities between Hux and legendary villain Grand Moff Tarkin from the original Star Wars movie. Could Hux die when the Starkiller Base is inevitably invaded by the Rebels? Or could a frustrated Kylo take him out himself? Prediction: He probably dies when the base is blown up.
